This is a rather long video, but for those here who have never done a ground-up restoration, it's worth watching. Some key points were glossed over or skipped, but it still interesting, entertaining, and educational. The young lady doing most of the work has some serious talent in many areas. There are a number of things I would have done differently, but seeing how this was done in Japan, parts availability may have forced her to take different routes to restore some of the parts. There was nothing shown regarding the cylinders, (bored and hone or just honed?) and the valve shimming process was extremely brief. But again, this is worth watching if you've never done one. It will either inspire you or scare you away. Watching it reminds me that I don't think I want to do another ground-up restoration. I've paid my dues!
