I bought a CB1100F in Atlanta a couple of years ago , from Florida, build date 7/82. It has a black chain, guard black grab bars.
I just bought a CB1100F a couple weeks ago from Alabama , build date 7/82, it has a chrome chain guard and chrome grab bars.
I cain't believe they are the same date, was the chrome stock ? |

Rick, I think all 83 CB1100F's had chrome chain guards and the black chrome grab bars.
It sounds like both of his bikes had some 750/900 parts swapped out
