Disc options for stock wheels?????

Does anyone know if there are aftermarket disc's that are larger then OEM for the stock bolt pattern?

I need something for a customers new Dymags and they are set up for the OEM bolt pattern. Brent told me about a company in Australia that make custom discs. But he didn't remember the name of the company. I'll look into hunting them down next. Or anyone know of a place in the states that makes custom disc's??

Hey Jim, I can't think of any company currently making, oversized front brake rotors for our Comstar bolt pattern... I have a vague memory from the past, that I may have read somewhere about EBC, had made a 300mm size?? I did a search on the web , but came up empty..

Anyways, this is the reason why I made my own 296mm & 310mm, for my Comstars....

Webike has Sunstar 320mm rotors for the stock bolt pattern wheels available with your color choices for the buttons etc Very Happy

Which one? 1100 6 bolt or 900/others 5 bolt?

I'm using SunStar 320mm with Brembo 4 pots from Webike:

Thanks guy's. I knew you'd show me options.

I like the set up J.R has but I have the 5 bolt pattern. I found a place in the UK that makes disc's and will do some more searching today. Biggest problem is I need them asap. The customer took 6 months to box up the parts he wants on his new bike and send them to me. Now I have a month and a half to deliver and really needed the wheels months ago.

Oh well. I'll win

I may have to do the "Melchiro" and make a set fit??

Jim,

I emailed you some pics of exactly that front wheel and those rotors that are on my bike, that you made spacers for the rear wheel and braced the swing arm. Very Happy

Mine ARE the 5 bolt pattern that's common to most Comstars. Here's a set on the blown Gold Wing I'm doing, utilizing 900F Forks, custom built wheels by Buchanan.

I put on some CBR600F3 rotors. Not a direct bolt on though or offset. Basically, with help from people here, I was able to figure out how to do it fairly easily.

-- filled the bolt holes on the rotors using aluminum brazing, then marked and drilled new holes to match the Comstars using the stock rotors as the template.
-- painted the rotor carriers black with VHT caliper paint
-- used CBX caliper mounts to correct the difference in outer diameter
-- used some spacers and longer bolts to correct the offset

I'm utilizing the newly introduced KOSO RXF Multifunction Electronic Speedometer (can be GPS). Does all the things you'd expect it to do including lean angles and accelerometer. See here for the full report.:
