Hey guy's,

Could one of you with the Mickey Mouse style clocks PLEASE take me a picture of the clocks including the mounts on the upper Triple clamp. Also maybe a picture of an upper clamp with NO clocks attached?
I believe that the mount holes are 175mm from center to center??

I'm modifying a set of FZ1 clamps to accept the Euro clocks and need some visual inspiration.

If someone can help me out? I will mail you some JES BUILT decals if you would like for the Help and effort.

Peace, Jim

Damn thats nice Don. You are so spoiled to have Mario for a brother!! Cool

I was thinking of a one piece with the same style of mounts. But it was going on top of the clamp and the bar mounts would hold it on. Your pic's will make me think harder. I also may just cut some off of a stock US clamp and weld it on but I prefer the machined stuff. All depends on what the buyer wants and has to spend?

Many Thanks Don and Mike for the pics.

Can either of you confirm that the mounts are 175mm between centers and maybe how far in front of the clamp they stick out? That would be awesome. I hate F'n up without the part to mock up.

Both of you can pm me your addresses and I will send the decals if you would like?

Peace, Jim

OK I just looked at the ebay photos Mike.

Are all of the Euro top plates made for clip on's? I thought there were some ones with bar mounts??

I don't need the headlight mount sizes.

Thanks Jim

Thank You Keith!! Send your mailing address and I will mail you some decals if you want them?

Jason, Your not making thing hard. This is what I deal with daily. I hate to mess up so I do some home work before I jump in.
I may be slow but I like to get it right the first time.

Thank You Don, Mike and Keith.

I would have looked the stuff up myself but that may have taken a couple days to find exactly what I needed and seeing Don's/Marios parts made all the difference in the world.

Peace, Jim

It's a shame you didn't ask on Friday, I was up in my garage making another small step forward in rebuilding mine on Friday n Saturday. I haven't got my clocks fitted yet, so a few snaps of my top yoke n clock mounts will be easy enough. Mine are clip-on type bars as well.

This is what I have so far. Now I'm making the ears that will bolt onto the top plate.
Thanks for the idea Don.
I was testing my skills on the project. All on my manual mill.

I hope you like it Sled? You'll be the only one on the planet with one. If you anodize it like Don's it will even look better as it will hide some of my flaws.

Peace, Jim

Sled's speedo and tach mount is done. If anodized it will look better.
This set up is for 02 to 05 FZ1 triple clamps and the stock Euro clocks.

This was a challenge for me to make and I learned a lot. All done on a manual mill. This was my first ever bolt together parts. I had fun.

I hope you like it Jason. It's yours.
