Are these 1100F mirrors?
I found them going through some boxes in the shed.

Indeed they look very similar but I don`t think they are the originals for the CB1100F

They're very close, but not exactly the same. The mirror body is the same, but if you look at the short stem piece that meets the body where it pivots, yours is a little longer than the stock 1100F piece. Honda used those mirror bodies for a number of bikes - some were chrome plated and some had longer, skinnier stems. Refinished, yours would look very nice on an 1100F and only a fellow F'er will know the difference. |

Stop tormenting me with the refinishing ideas.
It is also possible that the stems are slightly longer because of the Aust regs. Three are 3 or 4 different numbers for the 1100F mirrors in the parts book and fische that I have.
The identical mirror body is used on the VF1000F mirrors as I have a NOS set of those and compared them. Now that I think about it I might see how they compare to VF1000R mirrors. |

It wouldn't surprise me if the AUS mirrors were slightly different. The fact that your VF1000F mirrors have the same body proves that. The VF1000F mirror bodies used on the US bikes were different than the 1100F bodies.
Too bad you don't live closer. I could make those babies sparkle. I can get the glass in and out of them no problem now and can even make replacement glasses when necessary. |

Yep VF1000F mirrors but not the same as 11F mirrors. I have a couple of sets of those NOS . As Tom stated Honda use the same body of the 11F mirror on different bikes but this is not one of them . |

Ahhh, I couldn't tell from Jeff's backside pics of the mirrors. Those are definitely VF1000F mirrors.
Dale - do you mean to tell me that you have NOS VF mirrors and no VF to put them on? |
