Hi Guys

Here's a rare thing, a cb1100f with a UK V5. Picked this up recently as an abandoned project. As you can see the previous owner has already stripped it down.

So.......do I rebuild it as is, restore it, sell it whole or sell it in pieces?????????

Decisions, decisions....... Smile

Definitely rebuild it. Give it a good clean up as you assemble it, get it running after a fashion then sell it on as a project. It would be a shame to scatter another cb to the wind!
Having said that, I'd be interested in the swinging arm!!! Very Happy

... for a minute there I thought it was my old one returned!

Any idea when it last ran? If you break it you are likely to have quite a bit left over that won't shift. I've seen a US 1100F frame on ebay for several years now ... I'd be tempted to restore it, at least it will be different in the UK.

Regards,

Max

It's easy for us to say, but I agree (presumably a "V5" is the same as what we Yanks call a Title?), it should be rebuilt. I'm in he midst of the same kind of resurrection, and it's a pile of work, but will (hopefully) be worthwhile when it's said and done.

Good luck, and keep us posted, whatever you decide.

Your probably right, that's how I pick up most of my breaker/parts bikes, as abandoned projects. Good ideas turn into harsh reality for most people.

I think i'm just gonna bolt this back together and rag it around as I've got too many projects on the go at the moment. Smile

However I do need some parts which are missing, so will be listing in the Wanted section.
