For those who don't know Mike Velasco was the man who made the 4-1 exhausts on the AHM racebikes. I can't even count how many posts I've seen here from people looking for them!

He lives in my area and I just got off of the phone with him. He told me he has been thinking about doing a run of exhausts if there is enough interest in them!

Thought I would put up this post and find out. If this sounds as awesome to you as it does to me, please reply and I will make sure he sees this thread!

Just curious, these would be pipes for race, not street?

Possible "stainless" version as an option?

I personally can't answer your questions, only give Mike this thread and let him decide exactly what he's going to do. Here is a pic of the original pipes.

Interested---Yes

Questions--Yes--several.

What material/materials will these be available in? Rolled Steel, Stainless Steel, Titanium?

Race pipes or street pipes --or possible either?

If street pipe--center stand retention--Yes or No??--believe it or not this IS important to some.

If only race pipes does it come with No baffle or maybe a Competition baffle--say 2.5" opening.

If the pipes are going to be Race only then--not to spoil the fun--But---will these not be unsuitable for use on the street because of power characteristics? Noise levels as well?

As I said LOTS of questions.

Bottom line though is I think this is FANTASTIC that there's the opportunity to have another pipe available to choose from and a BIG THANKYOU to "Danger" for getting the ball rolling along towards having this happen.

EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!

One last question--ANY ideas on what we can expect the pipes to "start" at $$$ wise or is it waaaayyyy too early to be thinking of that??

I'd be in, but you couldnt run stock peg brackets, or you could cut off the passenger portion. Thats what I did with a mid pipe I made from a Kerker set up.

I hope there would be a "street" version. Keep the suggestions and questions coming! Also, if you are interested , but awaiting answers to the questions posted. Say so. I'm just trying to gauge interest to show to him as I want a set of pipes for myself as well! I'm not doing this as a business venture btw, or to make any profit. I called him to find out about a set of pipes for myself and he mentioned a run. Figured it was a good topic to bring to my bro's here at the forums!

Another question comes to mind.

How many orders does Mr. Velasco consider sufficient interest as his Minimum run number before he would consider this venture?

Not sure what he would want, But you guys do understand that pipes like that go for around a grand. And the work that goes into it, it's worth more.

I would love one but I'm sure that I can't afford one, nore would I say that I'm interested until I knew some sort of price. That way nobody gets stuck with a bunch of pipes that everybody wants but can't afford.

Just my 2 cents.
