I got this from my local Vintage Race site.
Hopefully the road course will be motorcycle friendly.

Hopefully the funding will hold up. often these endeavors go belly up because of spiraling costs.
It was the same scenario in Central Pa. near Rausch Creek. All the hype over a large motorsports complex. now its a partially started pile of dirt and weeds.

Sounds like the one in NY has a better chance at succeeding though.
Appears to have plenty of backers with deep pockets

There is Native American land near there. I wonder if it is on their land. They have deep pockets.

I hope it happens. It would be nice to go there.

Used to run cars at Watkins Glen, loved the area and the track. Always wanted to do a m'cycle thing there. This would be good if it happens. Watched lately KY, and GA, promote and fizzle new courses.

We have the same thing happening up here.
There is/was a NASCAR oriented track proposed for the Fort Erie area that seems to be fading into oblivion.
Big splashy proposal with Jeff Gordon in tow, Canadian and American funding...would be very surprising if it went anywhere.

That could be a terrific thing for the guys on the NE Ride to plan around if it gets built. Very Happy
