Hello there,
I've been riding since I was 10 (I'm 47) and have had a wide variety of bikes, several Hondas, lots of Yamahas, even a non-running Harley.
I lost 7 bikes in a shed fire, and to help fill the void in my life I picked up a neglected CB 900F (1981).

I'm pretty active at the XJ Bikes . com site, giving advise where I can.
Hoping to learn alot about this bike and gain others wisdom.
I'll be posting Q's in the tech forum.

Welcome aboard.

Check out our technical section.

What particular things are "neglected" on your bike?

Thanks for the welcomes, the bike was ridden like a rat bike- - ripped seat, cupped front tire, froze rear brake, missing signals and mirror, but it started on old gas and a run down battery: $700

It seems the front cam chain tensioner won't adjust.
Where do we put pictures?

Hey, I've been waiting for an Orlando riding buddy. Very Happy

Let me know what you need to get that thing back on the road. I have some stuff I don't need and know where I can get more (depending on your needs).

Send me a PM if you'd like.

Welcome to the site. Looking forward to pics. If it started and ran despite those "shortcomings", sounds like you got a worthy F.

Thanks CowTown for posting the pic, thanks for the welcomes all.

Edited this evening- -
There is no rod
this is going to need more work than I planned.
The cam guide is broken. The bike has been cleaned and detailed,
and will be sold on Orlando Craigslist.
