HAHAHA.... Laughing Laughing

What is with these guys lately Randy, don't they know how to do some research first??
No, they just want 150hp from a 750, and to throw some stacks on some CV carbs. Rolling Eyes

Well if you like the look go for it.
However you will be giving up ride-ability IE it will run like crap..
The best thing for you to do is to use a stock paper filter in the stock airbox. (on the stock carbs anyway)

Now you could go out and buy some direct lift carbs, then you could put some stacks on there and be happy..
The stock carbs lift via vacuum that is why the airbox is needed...

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...Very Happy

There are actually stacks inside the stock airbox.

The bottom line though is this bike WILL NOT RUN with open intakes,K&N or anything else that "looks good".

The vacuum caused by the airbox restriction is the force that "sucks open" the slides because on a CV,you, the rider are not in control of the slides, only the vacuum is.
