What cycle gear do you want for the Holidays?

Hey all.
My wife gave me my Christmas present early: a pair of Draggin Jeans with knee armor. I've ridden for many years without lower protection, and figured the time was right to ask "Santa" for something like this.
Anyway, in some ways it is the season to receive.....what motorcycle stuff would *you* like to receive as a gift? Very Happy

I have to come up with a couple of Phoenix jackets. Gotta have them for the Hoot or we'll melt. TMB's leather ain't gonna work.
Besides that, I don't have a chimney, so Santa could just park an 1100F in my yard. A 'busa would be nice, just for variety, but that's blasphemy.

I, as well, would like something like this. I figure though to get serious pants, why not just get a whole suit and not mess around?
Id like to find an Alpinestar or Teknic some nice jacket/pants combo with armor all through it that keeps out the cold and rain.....oh and some nice gloves too.... my alpinestars gloves are wearing out.... Confused

Hear ya' there. The newer suits made with the lightweight high strength materials probably set the benchmark for protection.
But I've got a heavy weight leather jacket for my upper body that's probably got a couple of good years left to go on it. So, I decided to go with the pants as an addition. I think the jeans sans leather jacket "look" will let me be more comfortable in some social situations, rather than the full riding suit look would.
I've never ridden with crash bars. I've dropped bikes at speed. Not sure why I'm concerned about this now. I swear I'm not imagining this, but traffic just seems more......insane than it used to. Confused

and no I havn't been a good boy, I'm on the naughy list and havn't forgiven him since...

I got all my bike stuff just after I picked up my F'n bike..so since then the wife as told me "merry christmas" pressents under the tree are getting pretty big in mass...but at last check....I have none...that's cool. New jacket with armor, gloves, better helmet, rearsets, sand blaster, and other goodies...so all is good....

Um make my 1100F both red and blue..cause I want it fast and pretty, or is that pretty fast..........

whats these pants, Draggin Jeans with knee armor. are they jeans????

Draggin Jeans are various style jeans that have a Kevlar lining in, um, all the important places. The way their inventor has promoted them at live events, is to be dragged behind a pickup truck sitting on his butt (which is covered with the jeans) with no ill effects. The knee armor is removable and worn inside the jeans. Made here in Carolina. Interesting review on the WebBikeWorld website. My pair fit well, and seem well made, though I haven't hitched myself up to the backside of a pickup truck yet. Shocked

I dont know what the traffic is like there in North Carolina.... but in LA, more specifially Hollywood.... insane doesnt even come close.

Don't you mean "If you're careful & don't draw fast enough"? That's why I like to know how to shoot left-handed, & keep my weapon where either hand can reach it (not often enough--I'm lazy & careless sometimes).

wow, they seem pretty cool. But no where does it say inseam. being 36 inseam don't really like wearing 32 or 34, which is the standard...they are nice though..don't know if I would want to be dragged around on my a$$ by a truck though.

The normal inseam lengths are available. I'm remembering you get that choice once you start the "purchase" process on the website. I spoke with the company by phone and they were fine to talk to, and the website experience was fine, as well.

Haven't noticed any SoCal style freeway shootings here lately. I *have* installed a headlight modulator, and a license frame with a brake modulated l.e.d. light bar to hopefully get grope's attention.
And don't get me started about Carolina turn signals (they're called brakelights.....)

Budd..I have adventure...just don't like being dragged around on my ass...but I would drive the truck just to see "how tough they are" Montana has pretty good pot holes coming up in the spring!!! we don't notice them now, cause they are filled with snow.

contributed a large lump sum for me to order a nice 1000lb motorcycle lift! Very Happy

It's both air and hydraulic.

Not that thing from Harbor Freight either, a decent one like what Larry snagged. It just arrived at the local transport company. I have to go and pick it up this week. Would've cost like another $200 bucks to have it delivered to my door! Shocked

My wife ordered me a Alpinstars Air Flow Textile jacket. Came in the other day but is a little to snug for my 45 year old frame so reordered a large. Very nice jacket at $160.00

i was gonna say a warm weather jacket. my son has a mesh jacket with armor and i went riding with it once on a very hot day. it was bliss! they dont flop around, they keep you cool, and its way more protection then i've ever ridden with before. made by fieldsheer.

Ok, I proffer this quandry.

If he were straight, he would be riding like an idiot to impress chicks. Then he would end up wasting time with chicks, which means less practice and he doesn't get any better.

If he were gay, he would be trying to impress dudes. Dudes (even gay ones people) are always one upping each other and as such are always improving or getting more "extreme".

The gay option doesn't seem out of the question now, does it?
