Hey ya'll...I figured Id post some pics of my current bike. Its a '82 Virago in mint condition. Only 6800 miles on it. She runs like a raped ape too! My brother gave it to me until I get a bike of my own. I've had it since last fall, and have ridden it about 260 miles in 2 weekends with my dad on his Venture. I know its not a Honda CB, but hey, I got one of them too Enjoy:
The side cover was off when I took the pic...

Me thinks you will get flamed for posting that Non- CB.....F and Non-Honda here. You should have posted it in "The Great Behond".
Me thinks this was a great Yamaha with a terribly bad engineered starter motor drive. Me also thinks those early eighties digital gauges were absolutely auwful: Can't read 'em; can't service 'em.
Me thinks you are going to need a flame suit; Quick!

Is that a laptop on your forks or are you just happy to see me?
I had it's little brother...a 750 Virago...loved the bike, but it had built in problems. Mine wouldn't even make it to the 600 mile valve adjustment before it had worn the lobes off the front cams. Back then it was a 6 month warranty and no "lemon" laws that I was smart enough to take advantage of to replace my bike. I lost my ass on that deal...no more Yamahahaha's for me... |
