A little over 1200 miles in a little under 43 hours puts me at 30mph in my sleep. Really, that's what it was.. not warp speed with Alan (CB1187) through the inky blackness of Tennessee midnight Wink

Had a great time on the Dragon. I was surprised to learn it was soooo much more than a twisty road. Imagine a place where the only laws are those of physics, and right and wrong is reduced to on the pavement, or not. Anyway, it was an eye opener as a rider. I felt more connected with my machine more than ever before, and became more accutely aware of the remaining gap between us.

Larry led a fantastic day of riding down, and up, and all around the mountain(s ?).

And thanks for the tune-up! Larry broke out his big box-o-shims.

Next year I'm hoping to make it for the full week!

Those who rode 1100s, let me know so I can send your patch. Those who rode 900s, let me know so I can make some. I still need to know if all the 900 sidecover emblems were the same shape.

Anyone seen or heard from Spider? I may have missed a post, but have no idea if he made it out or not.

I didn't make the Hoot, but CB1187 came up to Cincinnati, and stopped by my house to say hello. Nice guy, and just slighty older than me. Laughing Very Happy

He had gone home and came back on his 1100F daily rider. Wished we could have spent more time chatting but he needed to get some rest, as he was going on another ride the next day. Cool

Just arrived back home from the HOOT. 11 hours from Columbus Ohio today.

RAT running great, about 4500 miles all together in the 12 days.

Had a great time, hope to do it all again next year, with a little more time.

Like to see more of the pics if possible. Rolling Eyes

Glad you're back home safe and sound!

How was the ride? Did you get the chain noise stopped?

Yep, did the proper, valve cover off, adjustment at my brother's place (Oldewing).

Just about perfect now, well, the cam chains anyway.

There are always more projects, part of the fun. Razz

Hope to see you again soon.
