Since I got the bike from ebay I was writing about it in the ebay forum, not any more.
I went and picked this bike up yesterday and expected it not to run,
well I did a compression test
#1 155 osi
#2 160 psi
#3 175 psi
#4 178 psi
Not bad for a bike that has not run in over two years.
So here is a picture of todays progress.
I put my CRs and my Big Crank battery on this bike today, and when I put gas to it and hit the starter button, she fired right off.

For a minute there I thought it came with those CRs. For what you paid I was gonna be pissed.
Looks like a great find in good hands. Glad to see it has a fuse cover. |

Congrats Ray. Keep the pictures coming as you make headway with this one. Heck of a deal indeed. Might have to fly you up north to do a service I can trust one of these days! |

I would have to load up with enough goodies to take care of a few of my Nor Cal buddies bikes and make it a very constructive trip. |

Sure sounds like an idea for when you get bored with all those palm trees and sunshine down there! |

I managed to pull the carbs and adjust my cam chains and the one (1) valve that was too tight on this bike in the past two days.
I can only do so much, but I did mange to try the bike with CR carbs and Mikuni VM-33s.
I may have also found a buyer for the bike, I hope so because I need the money. Buying this bike at this time was not the wisest move I ever made unless the gamble pays off.
I have to do some body part changes so I can sell the bike but I have everything I need to do this and make a couple of people very happy.
This is the 1/4 fairing that was on the bike when I got it home, look at the lack of fasteners.
Tomorrow I will finish the job of cleaning the carbs that have 100% blockage on all jets and they would not allow any fuel thru.
After I am done with the clean and sync of the carbs I have to compound/polish all the bodywork to remove the white over spray that is all over the bike because lames used to own this bike.
When I sell this bike it is goping to look pretty friggin good compared to how I bought it.
The motor runs great and has all that compression, only one valve was tight out of 16.
I am proud of my one handed self. |

Nice work Ray, especially for a one-armed man! You deserve to turn a decent profit. Start lining up your northern CA road trip/service jobs so we can all start making you rich! |
