has anyone in here powder coated parts like valve covers, case covers and etc.? what colers have you used? how is it holding up?does it clean easy? I was thinking about the chrome color or the brushed aluminium. I have a buddy that has all the equipment and just wants some parts to play with as long as i buy the powder. if so how did it work out? thanks |

Luckily, a few folks here have done that. To my immediate knowledge, the Mecurial Arachnid did exactly that recently. Lets see if we can get him out of his web to elaborate for a bit...... In my car stereo daze, I saw some excellent powdercoating schemes on many a 4 wheel ride.... |

I had the whole sha-bang powder coated and it did not crack where the frame got bent.
Powder coating when done right is the shit.
I just deleted the picture out of my gallery too of all the parts that were done, frame all covers everything was powdercoated.
It was F'n beautiful
I used High Gloss Black and Sun Gold with clear coat over the gold. |
