Mine was about 10 days. They said they would e-mail when it shipped and that it would be 3-4 weeks. I never did get an e-mail. Came home one day to a rather pleasant surprise. |

I was told 3 weeks and mine ended up being almost 6 weeks by the time I received it. Bad time of year they said plus mine was a custom job and not an off the shelf black one. I'm not unhappy with the result overall, but Corbin's customer service could be a lot better. I think they are a bit overpriced too, but I'd still probably buy another seat from them. |

Mine was here in just over 10 days (Gunfighter & Lady) w/red piping. I had an overall excellent experience with the ordering and customer service. I have no complaints and yes, if I was in the market - I'd buy from the again, no question.

This was a couple of years ago but turned out ok in the end. I went into the Jap bike dealer in my area (Kawi and Yam, no Honda dealer at the time) asked at the parts and accessories desk if they could get me a Corbin seat. They assured me that was possible and I proceded to be screwed around for 20 minutes before they admitted that they did not have a Corbin catalog and could I call them in a couple of days. I walked out, left turn to the Harley Dealer next door, ordered a Corbin Gunfighter for my 1100F and had it in a week. So where do you think my business is more apt to go?

3 weeks is about right for springtime. remember, they dont keep Z1 seats or CB900F seats on the shelf like they do modern Vulcan and Shadow seats. with over 150 diferent color and welt color combinations avail., that would be retail suicide. if you ever saw just how many differant molds they have for different bikes from the 60's to 2005, youde be impressed. it is truly hundreds. they are on shelves, hanging from the ceiling like sausages but can be located in seconds.
dec-jan you can probably get one with 10 days. im on my 6th corbin over the years and will no doubt do one this winter for my Z1.
is 219.00 for a complete seat in your choice of materials, colors, welt, flames, fancy stitching, including pan a lot?
wow. |

I got mine into the third week. I expected longer. My only complaint is that it is heavier than stock. But much, much better made. Very nice. |

And don't worry about the break in period. Just gives you a great reason to put on another 500 or so miles. And unless you have a tender butt it's fine anyways. I think it is the best money spent thus far for me. Got mine with a yellow stripe. Made the bike look about 10 years newwer along with my taillight mods. Corbin is a great company. They have my three thumbs up. |
