Hey guys!
I've been wanting to repaint my 750 for some time, but I don't really want to go with the stock silver color. To me, there is just too much silver going on with the body color and aluminum/silver engine.
I'm not a real fan of sliver anyway, so looking for suggestions on a good replacement color combo.
I like brighter, louder colors that stand out--blue, red orange, yellow, green--colors that are actual colors. lol.

So, what would you pick to go with a silver engine? Would really like it to look as though it came from Honda, as in still incorporating the F style stripes in a color that would highlight and go good with whichever base color is chosen.

Thanks!

Thanks for the replies, guys. Black may be the way to go. It pretty much goes with anything.
That's a pretty unique color combo you have going on there, STDocLizard. Looks nice.

Here are a couple of black options, too...

+1. Hello Doc!

The stock black 1980 paint scheme always looked good to me!

Cliffiec, benbrz--I appreciate the examples and they look good, however the bikes have black engines, so any color will look good to me.

fforfast--I like that color combo as well.

Guys, I wonder, should I attempt to paint the engine black in the frame? I know it would be a lot of work, but I'm pretty sure I could do it.

The more I think about it, the more I'm thinking I should just go with the stock silver. It's not my favorite, but the bike looks like it should from Honda.
My buddy who will be painting it for me and is a fantastic body and paint guy, keeps suggesting burgudy.

I'm fine thanks. The end of the "4th Quarter of Life" is on the horizon and I am praying for overtime. LOL.

It's your bike, brother! We can "suggest", but you do what is good for you, and post up pics when you are done, so we can admire your work!
