So, I finally got my buddies 900f engine in his frame and fired her up. She sounds good. Just gotta do a carb sync then that one is finished. I’m tearing into my build now (1000c jugs and head on a 900 case) I noticed the cam chain tensioner is different from the 750/900. Was this Honda’s improvement over the smaller one? Should I be worried about this? |

Indeed the 1000C cam chain tensioner, are the same as the 1100F. Much better than the 750 or 900, so no worries.
The 1000C head, (MG1), were the best of the lot as well. |
