Paintworks closed

In conversation with a friend at a local vintage bike shop yesterday I was told that Craig Ellis has closed
the doors on PaintWorks and is no longer taking outside jobs. Apparently he was offered a full-time job with
a regular paycheck, more money and less stress than being self-employed. I wish him well and thank him for
the beautiful work he has done for those of us in the F-bike community who were lucky enough to receive the
benefits of his talent and craftsmanship.

Wow, good for him but terrible for those needing a quality paint job. He does top notch work and I was glad to be able to use him for the 985.

This is old news. Craig told several of us this early last year when he was wrapping up the work he had left in his shop. I can't blame him for wanting a steady paycheck and benefits. He was a true craftsman for sure and his shoes will be hard to fill.
