Bought my 900F bike in Oct of '18. Since then I've done carb rebuild, cam adjusting bolt heilicoil and clutch damper kit. Thought it would be fun to make a mobile of failed parts for a reminder of what it takes to ride a 38 year old motorcyle. Also noticed that it would make a good Christmas tree ornament. See if you can identify the parts:)

The bottom one looks like threads pulled out of a hole, like the front cam chain adjuster bolt hole. Gut wrenching thing to see.

Reminds me of the Tree of Shame at the Tail of the Dragon. Cool ornament idea! I Don't think any of the trees we buy could support this weight though!

Especially in Utica when Spike blew his motor up!

Todd’s (cam sprocket bolt?) explosion that made a hole through the valve cover was pretty impressive as well.....also Utica, but back in 2007?

Parts are #2 carb throttle linkage with a broken finger, rock hard clutch damper ( 1 of 6), stripped brass tube from carb, aluminum threads from upper cam tension bolt. Couldn't figure out how to hang the pitted brake caliper pistons from never changing brake fluid, but they do make a good shot glass:). Merry Xmas!
