I have resurrected some bike that have been out of the system and the inspection at DMV mostly consisted of checking for lights seat tires etc. non of which needed to operate. Checkee looked at VIN on steering neck and engine numbers. On the older Fs they were non-matching numbers so that never created a problem no matter what engine was in the frame |

All they cared about was that the number on the frame matches their paperwork, last I did it. |

Yea, they don't really care about the carbs and exhaust. I brought my cb out here and they didn't say anything about the cr's or the 4-1. You should be good. Like Gene said make sure the numbers are right. |
