Current plan is to depart Connecticut end of March, and travel to New Mexico. Spend a few weeks in NM, then travel back to Maine for the summer. The bed of the truck is currently planned to be empty (or close to it), so offering up to anyone needing to transport a bike. Cost? Cover my gas for the distance your bike is moved, and I'll drop it off.
End of April, planning to come back to Maine, pulling my trailer with my silver 900 in it. I expect I'll have space for at least one bike to move from SW to NE on that trip, so the same offer applies.
Been considering a purchase, but "it's too far", I might be able to help out.
The possibility exists that this could become a regular run, NM to Maine in the spring, Maine to NM in the Fall... |

Well, Dean, I was hoping to stay closer than 500 miles off of the course, but if someone has a bike to move from the Virginia area to the west, maybe it can work out... |

Rick, if you do swing down my way you better stop by! |
I'll be relocating to Richmond this June/July. Need to transport 6 bikes and only have room for 3 in my trailer and truck bed...
Know anyone with a motorcycle rigged enclosed trailer I can borrow??? |

Made it to Abq, and heading back to the NE late April/early May, with a possible stop in Houston. Offer still applies for the eastbound leg... |

Planning to leave here on the 25th, and head to Houston to ride with Ron and Janet, then continue north and east, right now I have room for a bike in the trailer, transport available in that general direction for the cost of fuel... |

Left Abq yesterday, spent the night in Chikdress, Tx. Visiting old friends tonight in the Dallas area, then to Houston to see Ron and Janet, and do the ride on Sunday. Might get to meet up with ToddK in Raleigh (Wed), then north to see Fr8Train...
Brought the GL1500 with me, so the trailer is full!

What a day!
Up early and off to the "Ride for Kids" with Pediatric Brain Tumors, with Ron and Janet. More than 250 bikes in the group, over 400 people, and over 92K raised for the charity. Ron and Janet are key figures in the organization, and have been involved with this worthy cause for 27 years, and counting. I'm honored to know them, and look forward to getting my shirt, and wearing it out.
Rode straight back to the hotel, and loaded the bike back in the trailer, and got back on the road. "Get-there-itis" is setting in, and we did 355 miles, and are spending the night in Vicksburg, MS. Plan to get to Tennessee tomorrow, then into Virginia Tuesday, and into Ct on Wed, and possibly up to Maine on Thurs. The road to camp isn't open yet (after Mud Season), but we're hoping for the next couple of days...
