That is the CB1300 SUPER BOL D’OR SP, I prefer the CB1300 SUPER FOUR SP which is ¥1500000 in Japan, about US$13700 at current exchange rates.

It's such a shame that Honda chooses to torture us rather than bring them over here. I would sell a few of my bikes in exchange for one of those babies.

I wanted it, until I saw the spec: 110 PS = 108 HP and 119 NM = 87 ft-lbs. Why do they make these big 1300cc bikes with the same power as their 600cc bikes? I expected numbers up in the 160-180 HP and 100+ ft-lbs.

I'm down for one. Who wants an old 1100F? Cool

Seriously, I wonder if it would be possible to do a group buy? And would this model meet U.S. DOT standards?

"And would this model meet U.S. DOT standards?"

Very VERY UNLIKELY!!!!!!

I'd also be concerned with registration / securing a title (# of digits to match USA standards) and Insurance (the companies couldn't find it in their data bases and thus couldn't do a quote).

A REAL PITY as this would be a Super Bike to have.

Also in same category--but NOT a Honda is

Nice looking machine. I owned a red-frame CB1300S for a few years. Specs may look underwhelming but the bike feels great on the street. Peak horsepower is pretty useless on the street. IMHO of course.

+1 Between traffic on hwys and speed limits, few places here you can use it, other than a track. A real shame - I was in Germany in '06 on an ST1300 Pan European, cruising the autobahn @ 140 - 150mph until something faster came up flashing his lights for me to get out of his way. That was a lot of fun - I'd have to ride out to Nevada to do that here. Hmm....maybe I should consider moving??

I own the successor of the cb1000 for a couple of weeks now. A Cb 1300 super four. 1998. It was built till 2003. Than they made the cb 1300 sc 54, you are talking about. It’s a little different from my bike.
My bike used to have 100 hp too. It wasn’t imported to Europe or to other parts of the world and so it was available in Japan only. Officially.
At least about a few hundred made it to Europe. It was easy to take out the restrictions in the carburetors and to add an open 4-2 from a performance exhaust manufacturer.
Now it has 128 hp. And man. This bike pulls like a train. It makes 180km/h in a few moments and not I wasn’t using more than 6000 revs so far.
When I get used to the bike and the weather is better I’m going to,use the whole bandwidth of the motor.
I’m not sure if we could import bikes from Japan and get it registered in EU. I thing now we have similar regulations like DOT. PITA
I like the new super Boldor too. It has the same paint scheme as my CB1100F. Lol
Cheers
AJ

I've got a 2004 UK CB1300F, stock power is 114bhp and 86ft/lb, it now makes 141bhp and 101ft/lb at the wheel!

Mods are, full Akrapovic exhaust, Power Commander V, TSR Air inlet, Pair valve and flapper valve delete, and a couple of hours
in the hands of a very skilled dyno operator, it'll now out drag a Yamaha MT10 (FZ10 in the USA) to 100mph, pulls like a freight
train from 1300 rpm in top gear, and is a real hoot to ride as it's so effortless....
