1983 CB 1100 F production figures

Hey I'm new to the Forum. I have a question that's probably been asked and answered a thousand times. I've been looking around without any success. Does anybody know the exact production figures for the 1983 CB 1100 f US model.

Don't know about the US model, specifically, but think I read somewhere that the total number of CB 1100 F's produced is about 3000.
(Seemed surprising to me the first time I read it, since we seem to have hundreds in Norway, despite the fact that the country has a population of about 5 million people..)

That does seem low. I cant find the website anymore but there used to be some parts sellers that had microfiche with the serial number ranges and with a little math you could tell how many were made.

Unfortunately all of the parts fiches I have seen and even the official Honda model ID guide give starting VIN numbers only, no ending

The lowest number I've seen is 21 the highest VIN number is 6910 that I've seen. I know there were other bikes built in the same plant so I'm unsure if the VIN numbers on the 1100 or strictly for the 1100 or like Ford there might have been more than one model go down the same assembly line.
