Around here, Southwestern Ontario, Friday the 13th is the call to ride your bike to Port Dover. It usually doesn't matter what month of the year either, someone will show up on a bike.
I've been to a November ride where the temperature was 60 F. I didn't make it to this past ride in, but by all accounts, it was packed! I went there today for a ride, and one guy I was talking to said there was a heavy and prominent Police presence. I would say it's 90% Harley's.

Chris,
The news related that the local population of 6000 runs to 150,000 on the Port Dover 13ths. This Friday the number reached 200,000 which might be a record perhaps. I’ve been 3 times saying after the first time “I’ll not go again!” I’m just not a high temp, big crowd kind of guy is all. One of them things ya might have to do once to say you did it. Amzzing number of bikes for sure.

When I went there on Sunday, it was tough finding a street parking spot near the bars/restaurants. I got lucky and got a spot right between two bars. The spot had just opened up so I parked near the 'front' of the parking spot. Within minutes, 3 baggers parked along beside me, filling the spot right up. Not one of them even said anything about my bike...Not a V2 and no side bags I guess? |

Chris,
“When ya seen one rice burner, ya seen um all!”
That said, you still meet some of the nicest people on a Honda, which is their loss.
