It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that I must inform you all that John (cb1100fer), a long time and passionate F'er, has died this morning. He was surrounded by his closest family and friends, with his son holding his hand, as he took his last breath. He will now join his wife, who passed 2 years ago from cancer ..... RIP my friend. You gave it your all.
FUCK CANCER |

Vaya Con Dios, John. Ride on, brother.
Darren, I saw your FB post, and logged into the site with a hesitation I've never felt before, knowing we'd lost a buddy...

Very sad to hear that John has passed away. He must have put up one hell of a fight, as he has not been well for quite some time. I had the pleasure of meeting John for the first time on one of the Windsor 'Rat Rides'. I also met gtomike at that ride too. I rode down to visit John on a few occasions. He was always willing to sell me the parts I needed to make my bike look better.
Ride in Peace John...

I know it's been quite a while since I've come on here. John died this morning after battling cancer for almost 10 years. He never gave up the fight, but the cancer was just to strong. He loved this site, and the passion for motorbikes. It was this site that I met John some 15 years ago.
We both lived in Windsor and he said drop by I'd like to check out your bike. From that day we became friends and throughout the years we made several bike trip to the U.S. We made plenty of friends across the border and made some great memories that I will cherish forever. Thank you for this site ,because I never would have met my brother from another mother. I love you John and I already miss you. Rest easy my friend. |

Very sad to hear this news. Cancer sucks and to deal with it for 10 years had to be awful. He must have been a very strong and determined man.
I've heard so many nice words about someone I never had the good fortune to meet. It proves once again that this site is much more than just about the bikes.
Ride in peace John. |

Very sad news, there was no other like John. I am glad to have met such a Gentle Giant and to have tried keeping up with him through the mountains of Tennessee. Godspeed John we will all miss you. |
