Hi guys,

Would like to say hello to all. Just signed up after some research on the internet seemed to pop up this forum in a few places.
I have a few bikes in the garage and have jut bought a 1981 cb900 for a new project. What I have in the garage at present:
1976 cb400 4 converting into a café racer
1998 Yamaha diversion converting into a flat tracker
2004 gixer 750 summer rocket
2005 hayabusa all year bike
2007 gixer 750 track bike
and now the 1981 cb900 to be converted into a café racer

The info I was looking for was mainly around the cb900 and the pods / stock air cleaner..... seems by reading various articles the cv carbs need the stock box.... Very Happy

Massive fan of road racing / track racing, just back from the TT, follow all types of series but seem to struggle to get info on AMA.

Is this an American forum?

All the best and hope to offer info and get sme in return.... Very Happy

I have pods on all my 1100's. Only trick to make carbs work better than with stock airbox is a Dynojet carb kit. Gotta do that with pods but makes it better! Not good without the kit.

I have pods on my 900 now as well. Installed the DynoJet kit, too. Really runs nice!

No, this isn't an American only forum.

Welcome to the site. Lots of good folks here. (But you might not want to talk politics.)

Welcome. Did the TT a couple of years ago. Awesome! There's lots of Poms here, and a few of them have 1100Rs, which makes our US cousins extremely jealous as they didn't get them originally Wink
Also a good mix of Aussies and one kiwi in particular you need to know about that is doing awesome work with his race engineering and it's subsequent trickle-down benefits for us plebs. Look for post by The Captain Wink

cheers
