I was perusing CL to see if there were any interesting bikes this weekend past and came across this Kendon fold up bike trailer. I have been looking for something lighter than my 1200 lb utility trailer for when I only need to move one bike. These things are lovely but expensive ($3k). Well this guy bought it and a new Harley then discovered his legs were too weak as a result of accident years ago. So both were up for sale. This trailer has never been used and is brand new to all intents and purposes and just over half price (after a bit of haggling). I picked it up this evening and am delighted with it. Spare wheel included as well. It will be getting its first outing on the Mid West F ride next month.

Nice, how much does this one weigh?

You could pull it with a regular auto.

It weighs 350 lb. So yes even with an F on it your well under 1000 lb which most cars are able to pull. My buddy asked to borrow my utility trailer recently but at 1200 lb that exceeded his tow rating with nothing in it!

Nice score! I've got a friend here with one of those (not sure if they come in different sizes, I think his is a two-place?) that he's trying to get rid of but I can't justify the cost.

By the looks of what I can see in your pic, it looks like you need to fill up your new garage with more stuff. That one wall looks pretty bare.....

Trying to avoid moving in too much crap before I get the floor epoxied, walls and ceiling insulated and dry walled. I am done with rough wiring and just waiting on inspection then DTE to put in the new 200 amp service Very Happy
