Would anyone be able to post or send me a couple close up pictures of a stock cb1100f seat installed? Side, back, top.

I'm putting one of the repro stock covers on to replace the hideous old aftermarket one that came with the bike. However, somewhere along the lines someone must have cut the foam to reshape it a bit. I want to have the foam redone to make it as oem looking as possible, and pics of a stock seats would help.

I found photos on the net, but they aren't close ups of the west area.

Thanks,
Brett

Your best bet is to buy a used pan where the foam is still intact. To put on new and reshape would probably not work. If you have any doubt about the seat foam, get a used pan. I have a a couple extra seats and other members have them as well

That is a good idea, and I know where I can get one locally.

Would anyone know where you can get the metal buckles for the strap? If they aren't available can someone take a picture and possibly a measurement of those? If they aren't available I will just fabricate them .

You can fabricate or buy another seat cover on Ebay which includes the buckles. Prices vary from 20 to 25 bucks
