Hi All,
I was able to get my blue CB1100F running after sitting for 20 years with a simple Carburetor cleaning and new spark plugs. She starts right up without the choke but I would still want a functioning choke switch.
DOes anyone have a source for the choke cable clamp and screw? The part is obsolete on the major OEM parts suppliers online. |

If you need the parts circled in red send me a pm with your address and I'll send them out to you. |

Hmmm...starts without the choke? Hopefully I'm not raining on the parade but typically these cold blooded machines with stock CV carbs don't normally start so well after sitting overnight. The choke (in my experience) is almost always required to get them going in a reasonable fashion, stone cold. Good luck anyway, I hope road testing proves to be a trouble free.

The choke cable isn't hooked up and the carbs have just been completely gone through with brand new plugs.
I won't be starting it for an other week or so. Ordered the Valve shim and will be doing the valve adjustment along with oil pan gasket, filter and oil change once the parts come in this week. |

THANK YOU CARY!!!!
You are a life saver. If an other forums member would kindly send me his paypal address so I can send some beer money I would greatly appreciate it. Something tells me Cary isn't going to take this willingly |
