This Interceptor was in very nice overall shape, although the red highlights weren't something I would do. The owner wasn't anywhere in sight, so I didn't get the opportunity to talk bikes with him. Guess I'll just have to come back and look for him next time... |

Aruba is Dutch. So you might see a lot of European spec bikes. |

I have been to Aruba for 23 years for a week in November. I have never seen an older bike unless it had the damn extended swingarm for drag racing. Where did you see that bike? I would love to try and find it this November. |

It was across the street from the Hyatt and Playa Linda resorts in a little grove next to a parking lot.
I saw some Harleys as well and wondered WTF until we passed the Harley dealership on the way to the airport. |

Years ago I stayed at the Playa Linda and played at the Hyatt. Rented a Harley for a day and rode all over the island. It's only 19 miles long and 2-3 miles wide, you can't get lost. Fun times!! |

I will check for it in November. All the bikes I have ever seen there were in pretty bad shape due to the salt in the air. That and the lack of available parts. We did the Harley rental a couple times to get another view of the island. To me, the island is very small and you can cover every inch in less than a day. We even discussed moving there and decided that owning a bike there just did not make sense. We like to ride and as small as Aruba is we would be bored in a matter of days. Plenty of things to do on Aruba but motorcycle riding is just not one of them. |
