They both need a little love but I'll have some to spare soon. Pics of bike two in a day or two. Both from one guy who quit riding in 82. The bike sat under carport till I went and got'em.

Nice!!!!! The under rated under loved 750....perfect to do fun things with. High mileage too at just under 6,000!!!! Looks really pretty good considering it sat for 34 years!!!! These should come around very nicely! Everybody's dream barn find or in this case carport find. Can't wait to see it in 4-5 months!!!! Excellent pick up....

Grump, good score but can you please explain why somebody would leave these bikes sitting in a carport for 34 years, he must have realized many years ago he would never ride them again. The one shown looks in very good condition after sitting in a carport all those years, obviously the climate was good to it

Well Norm The fellow bought the black bike off the showroom floor and the picked up the silver bike for spares. The silver bike got scavenged a bit but in the box of parts I found NEW tail light, rear fender, 2-3 sets of turn signals, all the nuts and bolts, no swing arm pivot bolt but I have those, etc. I was amazed. Any way guy say he rode some but had several close calls in traffic and just decided it was too dangerous. So he hung up his spurs. I promised him a good home for the bikes. We are still in touch even though he left the state.

May take a bit longer Wayne. I still have a shop to get finished.

Amazing what you find over there we never find anything like that out here, except maybe the odd rare thing. I was at a mates place on Monday up in the bush and he had been looking for a master cylinder for a 56 Customline. He eventually found a bloke who said he had a few Customlines so my mate went over to get an old cylinder from him. In his shed was a number of immaculate Cuzzies and one of them is in pristine condition with 3000 original miles on the clock. Obviously not for sale

What's a Cuzzie Norm? Guzzi?. I've had some luck at finding stashed away stuff. I reckon a guy has to have an eye for "fixablity" as much as is possible. I've been stung more times than not but figure I just have some more spares worst to worst.

I like the 750s yaknow. I'm old, short and only weigh in around a buc fifty these days. Add a set of 11 wheels when I get around to new tires and I can get both feet on the ground!!! lol

I'm tryin to learn to speak Oz by the way.

Yeah sorry Grump, 56 Ford Customline. We get very little low mileage stuff out here, because of the climate and distances everything gets ridden/driven a million miles before it gets parked up for some collector to find in thirty years or so

Hi Grump I think the 53 was a sidevalve? they were called a single spinner or the twin spinner from memory, long time ago

yep 73 was the last flat head and I think I built the last flat head hot rod!! lol. Merc crank for stroke increase, edelbrock (i think)alum heads, two stromberg 97s, dual point ignition 3 speed. It was a long winder and would top out around 75mph in second gear but it took a while to get there due to higher rear end ratio.

Oh yea Wayne. been pretty busy. The black bike is on the trailer from being moved up from down below. has to go on the other trailer to get all three registered next thur. Pics later today.

Nice find Mike.
I'd trade a motor build for that Silver 750.

Peace, Jim
