Wow!!!! Scotty Mate!!!! That's freakin sweet!!!! Super congrats on that one!!! I love it....Now even more reason to come to OZ and have a spin on it....I recommend a special red painted parking spot in the shed where you can sit in a lawn chair close to the fridge and drink some cold ones and just look at her!!!! Rexe put a lot of time and effort into making this bike, but decided to change over to a new KTM so his bike now lives at my house and after a while it will feel like my bike.

I will sit and have a beer whilst starring for sure Wayno. It's 4.15am here so I will wait until I get home form work this arvo.

Chris the bike isn't registered so I will show it to you on the next ride but not the Barry Sheen unfortunately.

I really can't wait to get it registered and take it for a lap

Scotty, congrats on that I knew Rexe was thinking of selling but I didn't think he would go through with it. I hope you are putting it on club reg, pity you aren't in Vic, ours is the best by far.

Club rego for sure mate. We are having a 2 year trial of the same club rego system as you guys have. One of the clubs I'm in have a run on pretty much every day during the week and several on the weekends so I will never get to my 60 days ridding per year anyway.

I'm actually thinking of putting the sidecar and CB750 on club rego to save a few $'s. I might do them all at the same time and save multiple trips to the RTA

Scotty, with a log book and a with a couple or three bikes on club reg you very quickly realize you can't fill the book, and ours are for 45 days. 45 days cost $73, full reg close to $700 down here

Ours may be 45 too. I'm not sure. But when we are on a club run this does not come off your total of days allowed. (I think that's how it works)

A couple of mates and myself are considering starting a club so we can have bikes, cars and trucks on club rego all in the one club

Scott they have cracked down on the new clubs forming down here, as soon as the log book came in the number of clubs went from 500 to 5000 overnight, even a family could call themselves a club and get the cheap rego. You can save yourself the problemsl and join the Enfield Club, membership is cheap and no restrictions on what vehicle it is, I think, at least that is how it works in Vic. Club is registered in Vic and NSW runs as a sub branch of the Vic club. Down here we accept anything. I can find out what the situation is in regards to NSW if you want, no problems, only takes one email. I look at all the people with new bikes and if they are not commuting on them they usually tell you they took their bike out probably half a dozen times last year because they only have the weekend to go for a ride and then on the weekends other things always seem to get in the way. $700 for half a dozen rides plus insurance and depreciation. And then with the club reg you get cheap insurance with Shannons as well

Scott another thing with Shannons, they wrote mine off 3 years ago because I had put a hole in the ignition cover and they thought dirt may have gotten in, they paid me out for the agreed amount, I bought it back for $150 fitted a new cover and went back to them and they re-insured it for the same agreed amount as before. I think it costs me about $120 a year for full comp, depends of course on the agreed amount

Ours here are 60 days. Initial cost to rego a bike is $94.00 then it's $59.00 thereafter.
I have 3 bikes on this scheme, I'll never run out of days to ride Razz

Hi Scott,
That's one very nice 1100,should be a rocket if it goes as well as it looks. Jeez Norm I can't believe how much you guys pay for rego over there.I've just renewed the rego on my 1200 Bandit & that was $251.00 for a year ! We also have a club rego scheme over here and I think the cost is about $60 or so.

And get pinged for not filling out the log book, $700 fine as classed as riding an unregistered bike. Good thing about the club reg it is not on the database so the cops avoid pulling you over because they can't look anything up on their computer, they have to ring Vic Rds on their mobile and that can only be done during office hours Mon to Fri and you also don't pay the toll roads, at least in Vic
Chris in the eastern states we get screwed on everything so the little win we have with the scheme makes us feel a bit better

I'd live in OZ in a heartbeat....nicest, funniest bunch I've ever known...I'm sure there are good and bad like anywhere....keeping a log seems to me to be no big deal....I keep a log for my car for mileage reimbursement, it's no bother to me....and I still have to pay tolls!!!
