Doc (Bob) calls me up and says he is going to be a bachelor this week only. I load up the car with gear and head south for Watertown New York. At the border crossing I see that 6 of 10 cars are from Quebec and the Ontario cars are pulling trailers or motorhomes pulling cars. So it's official, November must be just around the corner and the early snow birds are headed south. Look out Florida, down the I-81 they come!
Get to Bob's house around 10:30. His son is over and brought some doughnuts. I like him already! Looks like he is headed south as well, just waiting on his final release paperwork from the army.
Bob and I head into his garage. It's one of those single file types but holds two cars deep. He has numerous motorcycles under construction in there and others under cover waiting to be taking out for a run. Center in the garage is a motorcycle lift. He has my 1123 motor already hooked up into the engine test stand.
I check out the motor and observe all manner of pipes welded together that lead the exhaust to finally exit via the garage door. Bob went to a local muffler shop with a pizza and then rummaged the scrap metal hence a lot of twists and turns in that exhaust pipe.
Bob checks out specs...
I verify specs!
Checking out the nut busters. If you visit Bob at home watch out for charging over excited dogs that are sooo happy to meet you!
Back to work...
All done the run. Now hanging the motor to drop the stand and place the motor on a wheeled dolly.
Made it home for Halloween! Thanks for a good day Bob!

And when Doc isn't helping assorted F'rs, he even uses the shop for himself! Here is the motor from the "Blue Bike" coming back to life with a Cruzin' Image 1123 kit installed. Sillygoose and Hiro were there to join in the fun also.
