In the final stages of getting a new job, in Shelton Ct. Hoping to be on the road from NM to Ct this weekend, once the deal is final. Will be bringing my 750F with me, and plan to do a frame off rebuild and freshen the top end over the winter. Will be looking for apartments/condos/houses to buy, but may need a short term storage solution for the 750. Any volunteers to take in a wayward (not running) bike? |

Holy shit Rick. You mean like a permanent move, as in a, "I'm living in Connecticut now" move? Welcome back to the great northeast. And congratulations on the job. Hope it's something great and lasts as long as you need it do so. |

When I typed "final stages" the other day, it meant I was waiting for one more phone call to load the truck and head eastbound. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting. Will keep you posted when I get the "execute" command. |

Rick, you're gonna want to store one bike by you. I have loads of roads for you to explore and I'm only an hour and a half away. |

Brian, the current plan is to bring the beast down from Mass (once I have a garage space), and have the 750 to rebuild over the winter... |

Yes Dean, living in Ct, but commuting back and forth to NM frequently, and to Maine frequently, as well.
Finalized the deal today, and will be loading up the truck and heading east first thing Thursday morning. Day one, ABQ to KLRF (Little Rock AFB to the civilians in the crowd), Day two, LRF to Asheboro, NC, Day three up to Ct... |

Best of luck with the move Rick. If you're coming up I-95 thru DE and PA, you're always welcome to stop by. I'm just a mile off 95, Exit 1 in PA, just across the DE/PA line.

weellllll that's good and bad news. I know how much you love the NE and I can't blame you for that. It's a great and lovely place though Ive never been there in the winter, even when I lived in Pawtucket. So good news that you get to live there. I am happy for you. Bad news is we will all miss you out here in the wild wild west. Along with so many bikers along the way we have become lasting friends. My shop is coming the last week of this month according to building supplier. west coast storage if needed. A long ways from NM I reckon but here if needed. Also I can mind Tank for as long as needed. Lotsa room for him to run around in the land of eternal sun. I wouldn't want the big guy to get lost in a snow drift. As always the door is always open. SAC nearest airport. g |

Safe travels Rick!
If that 750 ends up in temp storage with my kin, does it have one of your oil coolers mounted?

Safe travels rick. Maybe we'll get some mini n.e. rides in. That'd be cool. Good luck! Eric. |

Thanks everybody.
Steve, yes the 750 has a cooler mounted, why do you ask?!
Made it to North Little Rock today, about 900 miles. No problems beyond some normal a-hole drivers (a very small minority). Time to sleep and head off in the AM... Next stop, Asheboro, NC. |

Done, sir. Standing by for reply...
Arrived today, after another harrowing journey through NYC. Stayed with Fr8Train last night, and got the chance to ride his F-117 themed 1100. WOW what a bike.
Starting work on Tuesday. |
