An unfortunately impressive list of injury. Pretend your 19 and heal quickly. Really sorry for ya. Hopefully, you didn't bang the ole noggin too.

Thank you everybody for the get well wishes!! I'm doing my best to just relax and heal but after buying up Martins parts, I'm broke and need to get on with selling these parts. The problem is that I need to go through each and every box to see what I actually have? After riding Dabeast I have decided to keep her for awhile and do a few little mods like lower the front fender and clean up a few items that need some TLC. I believe that I can recoup my money from just parts.

Shawn, Yes I did hit my head and beat up my brand new Shoei helmet. I'm not sure if I got knocked out but the construction guys that were right there thought that I laid motionless for a little while? I thought that I just laid there until they helped me up as I couldn't get up on my own. Yes I was more concerned about the bike even though its my shittiest one. Thank God I didn't scratch up the forks or swingarm that I was testing as they are a customers but the custom brake hangers needed to be tested before I will let them out the door.

Again Thank you for all of the good wishes and prayers. I need all the help I can get.

Keep it in a wheelie, Jim

Get well soon! Could have been worse. Personally I always land on my face. My worst one was on a dirt bike. I crashed after hitting some creamy mud at the bottom of some ledges I was jumping off of. I landed on my ass unhurt until the bike landed sideways, bounced back toward me while flipping a 360. I scrambled to move but it landed on my knee and arm as I caught my arm in the spinning rear wheel. Broke my arm, done something weird to my knee,,,and I never did find my glasses. Keep your knuckles up and your elbows out!

Thanks guys,

I'll be fine. This was a bad crash but I have had much worse in my MX and desert racing days. When you do near all of the above mentioned plus rip your nut sack open that needs stiches. You know that your hurt. I'll take this crash over crushing discs any day.

The only bummer is that I can't work and was already behind on jobs. I was almost caught up but this has stopped the progress.

I'll heal and the bike is just a bike that I have all the parts to replace. No worries.

Peace, Jim

Hope each day is better for you Jim. I will admit I broke my collar bone on a mini bike going around a corner at about 5 mph.

Just saw this, sorry to hear about the spill, hope you are recovering well. Best approach is to give yourself plenty of time and don't skimp on the pain medication!

Regards,

Max

Nich, this was my 3rd broken collar bone. My count of broken bones has now risen to 25 since I started riding motorcycles. I'm a glutton for punishment. I'm going to take my time healing but can't wait for a track day. Guess it may have to wait until next summer. Oh well Spa was a great track day and I finally got to ride an 85 GSXR750. Always wanted one.

Peace, Jim

I was going to ask or say in my previous reply but didn't, I'm glad and re leaved that you didn't crush or hurt any more of your disks! I know as you know,,( will take any of this as compared to disk damage). I have to say that I haven't broke any collar bones though!
I keep thinking of you and hope for the best.
PEACE be with you and yours.
