"au naturelle" Andy .... brought up the shadows considerably in post to reveal the camera side of the bike better. Otherwise, as you know, almost impossible to get a balanced exposure of that side and the sky without off camera lighting. I'm at a point where I will be soon investing into some strobes. Priorities get in the way. |

Thanks Chris, I do not have great expectations but I think it could get top dollar overseas, which is why it's going to be listed Internationally. Auction is set to go live on Wednesday evening. |

So far so good ... as expected ... we'll see how the last couple of hours go. I may just remove the reserve in the last couple of hours and let the market dictate. |

If there is a hi res available for print let me know as this bike sets the standard for builds.
It's great to see that you can recoup the money invested in this build and maybe come out ahead?
Makes the need to grow the collection more justifiable |

We'll see how it does .... you never know .... might make a hobby out of building custom bikes and selling them. Not even close to breaking even at this point, not even on parts, let alone my time. Start adding it up and it will scare you ....
If someone were to pay someone to build this bike (with all the custom fabrication and go fast parts), it would easily be close to $25K, just sayin ..... |

OK that 25K mark has be reconsidering picking up another to build out lol.
That would be a great hobby but only if you can make a decent profit. I have a buddy that customizes his Harley than sells for a loss and starts with another and does the same thing with the next bike. This summer he realized he could no longer afford to do it. |

You need to find a niche market and build the bike to perfection with only top quality parts, and of course start with the right bike that won't piss off enthusiasts ..... I expect the bikes from Sanctuary approach $50K. They have a limited market, but still have a market at that price tag for the right person.
I expect one could build Spencer replicas .... and I mean exact replicas, and ask a decent dollar, but it's likely most would find their way to Japan or Europe because that is where the market would be. |

Good points and sounds like you have an understanding of the customized bike world.
I almost sold my 900f to my metal business card printer. He's been wanting one since 81 - I have a tuff time parting with my projects so unless it was top dollar I couldn't do it - must be the hoarder in me- ha |
