----- Especially when its my own. I've used Shell Rotella T6 synthetic oil in my Kawasaki, Suzuki, and the Yamaha FZ1 for the past ten years. But I use Honda GN4 10W-40 oil in all the older Hondas. I ride each of my bikes 2-3,000 miles a year, so I end up just changing the oil once a year, usually about the same time. Changed the oil and filter on the FZ1 today, and instead of using the Rotella I just bought, for some reason I put in the Honda oil (which I also just bought). Obviously it won't hurt anything, but now I don't have enough of the Honda oil for the three Hondas. And (as we all know) that stuff is expensive! I swear I must be getting senile.
Sorry - just venting at my own stupidity.

My way of justifying this sort of thing is if you don't do anything you won't make mistakes, and we all make mistakes from time to time |

I'm getting to the age (54) that I can think of something to do, walk across the house and then completely forget what I was going to do....
So, when working on my bikes.....I really take my time and think things thru 2 or 3 times....in between all the beers I suck down....
