Too late Wayne - I just bought it. Haha just kidding! We have at least a couple members (BlueThunder & F4Fast) here who live on Lon Gisland, so hopefully one of them can help you out.

[quote="sillygoose"]If it was this red 1100f for $1500 it is gone:

Too bad the dude doesn't know how to take the ad down now that it's sold. Maybe we should all bombard him with calls all night! |

Hahahaha....As usual Tom cracking me up!!! Well it was great cuz I had "Design Team" meetings all day in the "Design District" of downtown Miami with snot nosed architects that I had to school on how it's really done in the engineering world. But I did see some really great places to buy Drugs and wished I had bought a hand gun, bat or at least piece of pipe then had to pray after the meetings that my car would #1 still be there and #2 Be in once piece and drivable. So the thought in the traffic hell going back to the office of a beautiful (faster red) 1100 in my garage eased the pain of the adventure!

I looked at it first and passed on it......He had someone from Connecticut that offered him $1700 sight unseen.
Someone from Staten Island was coming an hour after I left that said he definitely wanted the bike..
Now the bike....Low 20's in mileage , and left outside for one year so rust was all around. V+H meg rusted, stock mirrors pitted and rusted, fork tubes rusted.
All painted body parts needed repaint and tank had a few zingers in it besides...Needed body work and paint. Side panels carelessly stacked on each other with the paint side touching, with scratches and one panel with a crack at the bottom near the tab.
Seat ripped, clutch cable real stiff and unusable , probably internal rust from sitting outside. Also needed tires and chain and sprockets.
Front turn signals replaced with mini's
air box missing, pods in place..Engine started right up and sounded good with no unusual noises. Engine had a chromed valve cover and the correct 1100 rotor cover (but chromed) but it was severely scratched from a possible drop at slow speed .
It was worth considerably less that the asking price to me, but other buyers were on the way. I'm sure the guy that followed me got a better deal than I could have wrangled at that time under those circumstances.
But then again I don't buy these bikes to part them out and destroy them either...... |

You should have arrested him so he needed bail money. |
