Hey Guys.....

This bike is right down the street from me well within 20 miles anyway....I'd like and appreciate everyone/anyone's opinions on it from the description and pictures in the listing. It would be nice to have 2 since I can "FEEL" that my cosmetic work on my 750 is going to end up with it torn all apart and a major refurb and I won't have anything to ride while that's happening.....

I'd DRIVE the 20 miles down the road to see it.

Seller might give you the chance to hear it run and you could do a thorough inspection while there.

Might even make a new riding "buddy".

Bonus would be the seller might hint at reserve so you could determine if it's within budget and worth the asking price (after inspection).

GOOD LUCK--and keep us posted.

Thanks Hawk....

I drive by where the bike is on my way to my office every day. (I work close to Miami and live close to West Palm Beach...50 Miles)....So stopping by is no problem. I sent the guy a message through e-bay to see if he's interested in talking. It was on there 2 weeks ago and must not have sold.....I need to sell my XR650L tho cuz my garage is FULL..... I hear ya Erock....But the 750F was a personal thing for me from 1983 as you recall....The 900 would be nice and the guy's bored it out and got bigger pistons in it....I just am not sure he REALLY knows what he's doing....If he's not on here and part of the sick addiction it makes me wonder ya know????

Looks pretty good from the photos, though the wrapped header would make me wonder..why? For the price listed, I would buy it..

Thanks CowTown....I talked to the guy tonight. It didn't sell on e-bay the last time Cuz the reserve wasn't met and the final bid was $2,850.00. The pipes were still wrapped Cuz he was still working on it when he took the pics as he wanted to get it out there on e-bay....And the cam chain and tensioners were changed with the engine re-build....If I sell my XR650L by next week I hope to work something out with him so I can ride it when I tear my 750 apart....
