LAST MC RACE AT TWS

Sad but true this weekend will be the last motorcycle race ever at Texas World Speedway Evil or Very Mad

The track opened in 1969 and the CMRA Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association has been running motorcycle Roadracing events there since 1974. It was the scene of battles with the likes of Freddie Spencer, Hogman, Doug Polen, Kevin Schwantz , Colin Edwards , the Hayden brothers , Ben Spies and many others
There is an 8 hour endurance race on Saturday the 21 st and Sprint races start at 10 am on Sunday the 22nd

Come out and say goodbye to this historic facility.

There will be a special front straight photo at lunch both days and a final spectator lap as well

I would like to go but plans are up in the air right now. Miss those days there and Oak Hill and the Austin Aqua Fest in the 70's & 80's.

The Hogman was a treat to watch as was Fast Freddie. .

There will also be a vintage race bike display. Saturday weather is not looking too good, but hopefully Sunday will be better
