Has anyone got a part no for the black plastic fork cap, the one with the numbers on it, for adjusting the damping.? One has disappeared from 'Mary', only noticed this morning whilst washing her down. Or if anyone has a spare.?? Where they used on any other models.??
Thanks,
Jim |

That would be a nice job to use a 3D printer for. I believe they are NLA, although you might check with David Silver Spares. |

I've tried re-doing the cap with a 3-D printer but the results were not very good. Visually it looks like crap & it took a bunch of hand work to make it fit. We'll try making some corrections to the file but so far I'm not overly optimistic. |

I do some work with 3d printers, if you want to send me the file and we can try it on one of our printers |

There are 2 types of caps - both look the same from the top but the orientation /indexing pin is in a different location. |

Thanks guys,
I got one of the wrong ones on a cbx 750 at present, and attached with some Rtv sealant this time.?? So will do for now, but as said its not identical to the original one , but the 'Mary 'is far from original.!!
