Good morning fellow F lovers. I need your help.

I saw this ad in For Sale / Wanted http://www.cb1100f.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=72391&highlight= andresponding saying hat I would like to buy the pistons. On August 4th I sent $248USD to ElSalvador as payment. Javier said he had some family issues and put off sending it a couple times, but always responded to my emails or PMs. On October 4th I was promisd that it would be on it's way in the next week. Since then I have not been able to reach him and have not received a package from him. I have sent 12 emails and a PM but have been summarily ignored.

I have, I believe, an outstanding track record of supporting The Forum and its members. I have made purchases from Cary (oil pickup screen and R6 starter clutch) Dan (MrMegnum - steering damper bracket and now solid motor mounts) and JJam (carb boots and now a brake arm) all without incident so I'm not exactly sure how we as a group deal with issues like this.
I know that The Forum is in now way responsible for this an not able to help. I am hoping that the community of F lovers here can, howver. If there are any members who know Javier and can reach him for me, I would very much appreciate the assistance. Also if there are other forum members from ElSalvador I would happily pay you for your time to go and get my parts and mail them to me for Javier as he sems incapable of doing so.
Lastly, if any members here would like to let Javier know that this great community is unhappy with the way he has ripped me off, please let him know by email at 'cb823superf@live.com'. I am doubtful that any of this will sork, but I have to try.

Thank you for your time. I'm sure this message isn't as direct as I would have liked, but please understand that I am hurt, embarassed, and it seems out $250.

Jason.

That really sucks Jason...i hope it's just a glitch and your part comes through. If u used PayPal you can file a claim...i think....I'll keep my ear to the ground for ya.

Jason, FILE NOW, If you still can,, paypal has time limits on filing disputes / claims. 8/4/2013 You are nearing 6 months ,, no legit reason he can't put 4 pistons in a box and send them to you..

I hope it works out for you,, but defiantly file ASAP..

Items not received or a potential fraudulent seller
If you sent a payment but haven’t received what you paid for, or believe the seller to be fraudulent, you should visit our Resolution Center. We’ve developed several programs to help protect you, and opening a dispute is the first step to help get your problem resolved. Here’s how:
Log in to your PayPal account.
Click Resolution Center near the top of the page.
Click Dispute a Transaction.
Select either Item dispute or Unauthorized transaction, depending on the nature of your dispute.
Follow the directions.

Somehow I doubt we're going to hear from him. It's possible, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I agree with Larry (cbxdog), file a PayPal dispute right now. This in inexcusable, not a word from him, and no warning that he'd by unreachable.

Thanks for the responses guys. I, too, doubt that we'll hear from him again. I guess this is my lesson learned.

I did file a dispute with PayPal. We'll see if that gets me anywhere. Based on the immediate feedback, I seriously doubt it.

Thank you for registering your complaint about this transaction. Unfortunately, this type of transaction is not eligible for PayPal dispute resolution. We encourage you to continue to work directly with your seller, as we have found that many misunderstandings reach amicable solutions through communication.

I just wish I had his address or phone number. I don't know that it would get me my pistons, but I'd like to try.

Anyway. Thanks again guys.
Cheers from Toronto.

This might be him...

https://www.facebook.com/#!/javier.alonso.75470316

I've been surprised at how many guys named Javier Alonso there are out there.

Now I just need to get him to respond. I'm still trying PMs and email, but still NOTHING.

Cheers from Toronto.
