Gday All,
As a newbie on this forum, I will try to get up to speed. Been riding 35years on the road, done some road racing, dirt bikes etc. etc. I have ridden lotsa bikes, some I will probably never want to own, but had the experience of riding them. My partner has has a long term want(really bad have to have) for a CB1100RB but as well all know the are made of unobtanium and reflect the price that is a dream for us mortals. So she(who is in charge of war and finance) and I decided to focus on the CB900F2. Since then we have had the good fortune to buy six of these great bikes. We have 4 with original factory fairings (known as coke cans here in Aust), one naked, and one with an aftermarket fairing. There were pic to follow, but were advised that the pics were to big. |

Welcome to CB1100F.NET
We would love to see those pictures and there are many free tools out there to resize. IrfanView is on such free application for Windows. Most online hosting services such as Photobucket have them built in as well. If you would like some help resizing and posting the photos, feel free to send them to me via email. Click the email button at the bottom of this post to get my email address.

I think that I should illuminate some parts of my motorcycle past. I in the 1980's, I have raced at the Seattle International Raceway, Portland International Raceway and the Westwood Raceway east Of Vancouver in B.C. No I am not a toss pot, just had a lot of good experiences involving motorcycles. |

G'Day WW, welcome to our humble website! I personally have been on here since the fall of 2007, when I bought my mid-life crisis bike, a Canadian model 1100F.
It was in great conditon and now is even better thanks to members that have helped me getting the bike as close to showroom stock as possible.
Looking forward to seeing some of your pictures.
Cheers!

I like that big cushion on the seat!! All 3 bikes in the first picture have different brand tires. Any preference on the tires? |

Hey Waynesworld Welcome to this site. I have been here since 03-13. Cb1100f. That was the first thing that I noticed, 3 different tyres on the front of 3 bikes. This is a great site. You must be down south somewhere with all the heavy jackets on. Im in QLD. No need for jackets unless you are riding. |

Gday All
Thanks for the welcome. And questions. These bikes are as we have acquired them, hence the different tyres. The event was the Ross Motorcycle Show held in late November each year, which is roughly centrally located i Tasmania. My tyre preference for these bikes is Michelin Pilot Active. I live in Devonport, and find the Michelins to be a good tyre all year around on our roads. Nice to note some other Aussies infected by these bikes as they are embedded in my motorcycle folklore. Thanks to Dave for throwing the pics up. |

I f it is of no use I can certainly give it a home. One of the bikes is a naked version, but I think it had a fairing in the past, so I can use it. Let me know what you want for it + the obligatory slab of beer. |
