Twat /twät/ Noun
vulgar. A woman's genitals.
vulgar. A person regarded as stupid or obnoxious.

I now use this term to refer to my own stupidity for not thinking and missing the bleeding obvious.

So if you too wish to avoid calling yourself a twat please remember to fix the left and right plastic end covers on to your airbox BEFORE you put the carbs and cables on and get everything tightened down and finished in that department.

Can't believe I didn't think that one through!!!???

Have you got it sorted or are you going to have to pull the carbs? Biggest change I've made to this process (because I've had to pull the carbs off the RB a couple of times) is a hot air gun, softens the rubbers nicely and makes it (relativel) easy to get them reseated. Mine has become my new best friend ... Shocked

Regards,

Max

I seem to remember putting carbs in in a big hurry (all cables done up and adjusted) and forgetting something small, like the airbox.
So end covers don't seem that bad,

It's really actually quite easy of you use two giant Irwin construction clamps. less than an hour in and out.

David,

Trust you to go bigger ....

I've done it so often I can get the carbs out, half stripped, cleaned, rebuilt and back in an hour. I have to say that the hot air gun has made it a much less irritating process. Plus, it works brilliantly on heat shrink on wiring, this is important to me since whenever I fire up a blowtorch or similar I burn myself, but with the hot air gun, I'm much safer (and less blistered).

How's the RC?

Regards,

Max

I only knew twat with one definition.

A guy with a speech impediment goes to buy a horse. Let me see her twat. You just did. No I mean twat her around a little.
