Bring money, then go back and get more money.
KTM is as expensive a bike as I have ever seen.
We ended up with a KTM dirt bike. I could not buy a service manual but the owners manual was like $36. The clutch lever was $33. Don't even want to think what the rings would cost.

In my experience you definately get what you pay for, My sx525 eats 450's and 500's. and my dads jackpiner still has the ability to scare the living shit out of me.

A friends got one in orange and it looks as good in the flesh, shame it sounds like a wimpy lawnmower. My food blender has got a better sound.

I was reading about this bike a few months ago. It should have a better power to weight ratio then the new Ducati 1199. If its projected to have 185 HP (a little less then the duc) then it should weigh well under 400 lbs.
I love KTMs I would like to get a hold of a 350 dual sport and make it into a sport bike.
I don't know how they do it but they always seam to have more power and, more importantly, a lighter bike then the same class Honda.

I cant even imagine what the thing would cost...They get an arm and a leg for that Dungey replica dirt bike. That thing has gotta be a $30,000 bike.

More actual riding footage. That rear end during the turns looks really bouncey.

Well I gotta admit I lusted after an MV-Agusta Tamburini! They were 42k new, thats expensive..
So I got a 2007 F41000R at less than 1/3 the cost BUT with a lot of upgrades! Hi comp. and over bore pistons.. Plus Fast by Ferracci exhaust and more.. Makes about 200 hp and weighs 412.. AWESOME!
You should here it !!!!!

I'm not sure if they made it to TT this year. But I do know they had a big US dealer event over there a couple of weeks ago. We'll see if they make it to the US by next season.
