I have a 1983 CB1100F that is not engaging on start.It has plenty of juice, and I've already went the route of changing the starter. It didn't help. It all seems like the starter clutch. My question is, has anyone repaired this and could you possibly alert me to any possible problems. Thank you very much. |

First post. To answer,the starter clutch fails all the time. That thread shows the common things needed to repair it.
After you fix the internals use a good 6 point socket with the chamfer ground off and air impact with Loctite to tighten the bolts. |
