This guy sounds a little angry! See 3rd question below!

eBay seller wrote:

Q: Hi. Has it been registered in the UK (have a V5) please? Thanks
A: Hi No it has only been here a couple of weeks,if it does not sell I will register it myself and use it on the road.Which would be a shame as it has been built to race. Thanks Paul

Q: Hi, are you going to the Stafford Show in a few weeks time and could the bike be uplifted from there? Thanks, Stuart
A: Hi Yes we can take it there for you. Thanks Paul

Q: Hello. Thought you might like to know. I think you will find the bike is not eligible with the crmc. Due to the engine being 4 valves per cylinder.
A: I think you need to do a little more reserch before you send dumb emails as I and others have raced a Katana with them for the past 4 years in period 3,also just a note -- even yamaha FZs are eligable.

Hi
The vendor seems to get a few 1100's from the states
He has had 2 in the last couple of months both advertised as can be used in classic racing
In fact he sold me the rolling chassis for my silver 1100 a few years ago

Will be interesting to see what it sells for

Hope someone buys it for a road bike,be a shame for somebody to race it and wreck it

Maybe Andy you could buy Laughing

Keith

Jim, thanx for the email. It is common knowledge here on this board that Stout previously owned her, but did not build her. PM him.... Im sure he will assist you with any questions you may have.

I had Mary out on a track day on the 6th May and she ran brilliantly, plenty of grunt and handles really well for a big girl.
Got home with a big grin on my face. Very Happy Very Happy

Personally I think it's pretty cool that the bike travelled so far, yet stayed so close through its ties to this board.

Trig Westby would be glad to see her back on the track! Although I did not build it originally, I did add to it substantially in the few years that I owned it. Swingarm, shocks, steering stabilizer, CR carbs, Dyna ignition, CB1100R cooler, and GSXR starter clutch mods were all done by me.

How is the starter clutch still working? Curious because we only made about 6 of these and all the other ones are still living just fine.

The starter clutch is still working ok, no problems so far.
Who did you get it from originally ? Trig?

I had Mary back to the dyno this week as I now have Pipercross filters fitted, I was told she was running very rich and there is still a bit of hesitation at constant throttle between 2-3000 rpm but above and below that she is fine and pulls like a train. You just have to keep throwing the gears at her. I haven't checked yet but did you guys alter the gearing when you had her.?

I think I had it tuned for open stacks on the carbs so with filters it may need to be a little leaner? I'm not sure if it had stock sprockets on the bike when I had it but I believe the transmission was standard. I would put some hotter cams in it if you want it to open up more on the top end.

How is the starter clutch holding up? That has a custom GSXR starter clutch. One of just a half dozen that were built and I keep checking to see if any have warn out yet.

Sure glad to see her being used!

The starter clutch is still working so far , with no issues. What should the air pressure be in the rear shocks as a starting point ??

Thanks

Your Works shocks are designed for 225psi standard. Very Nice bike you own there BTW.

Peace, Jim

Do not use air! These need to filled with Nitrogen gas only. Most bike shops can do this.

Many tire shops also use nitrogen in auto tires and may be a bit less expensive than MC shops.
