Debris in oil filter after clutch change

I just changed the oil in my 900f for the first time since changing out the clutch fibers and adding the extra steel plate. Looked like aluminum chips to me. I have never seen this much crud in the oil filter. Bike is near 20,000 miles, owned since 7,000 and have always stuck with ~1500mile intervals. Riding habits haven't changed although the Honda has been ridden less frequently since adding another bike. The Honda runs great, just concerned if there is a normal increase in visible debris after changing a clutch.

Bring the filter by the house. If I had to make a guess when adding the extra steel plate you started skimming of some of the burrs left on the basket from years of wearing in/down.
