Some of you may know and some of you may not know, John has a battle on his hands. The big "C"..... He had a kidney removed almost 4 years ago that was cancerous. Recently in the past few months the dreaded cancer has returned. John has been under treatment and is doing ok. This past friday John had his adrenal gland taken out and will be home in the next few days. He starts back up shortly with aggressive treatment to continue his battle. I went this weekend to visit him in the hospital and he's doing pretty good. He should be home and back on the computer in the next couple of days.
John has been a big part of this site and those of have met him personally know he's one hell of a great guy. So when you see him online drop him a line....I know he thinks very highly of this site. |

Just did a reach out to John ( cb1100fer ) a week or so ago to see how he was doing and to let him know I was thinking about him. Definitely a hell of a guy. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with John and his family. |

Yeah, me too when I bought some parts from him. It'll do no harm for people to have a good thought for him will it? |

I knew that John had been coming to London for some hospital visits for testing and that he had an operation last week.
Thanks for the update Blizz. My thoughts and prayers are with John and his family. Anyone that has been through this ordeal
knows how support from friends and family is so helpful.
Get well John, I want to ride with you on the 2012 NE Spring Ride!!

Prayers and good Karma sent to him and his family. I have had the privalege of riding with John in Tenn for 5 or 6 years and he truly is a gentleman and a good friend. His past eBay postings have helped almost every member of this board at one time or another. He truly is a freind of the board in all sense of the title. Get well soon my friend, the people down here are pulling for you. |

Thank you everyone for the kind wishes and prayers as it makes this battle much easier and it's very much appreciated.
There's no cure for stage 4 metastasized Renal Cell Carcinoma and the best I can do is to try to prolong my life as long as possible. There are too many things I have yet to do, places to go, and people to meet.
I am fortunate to have found this place and friends that I met because of it. If one could measure a man by those who care for him then I am a giant indeed. |
